We are extremely happy that we chose Dechellis to build our home. It was an amazing journey from the initial consultation to this day, marking the third month of us moving in.
Yes, there were problems, but the solutions they came up were better than the original plan. We have worked so closely with them throughout the planning and building phase, some of them even feel like family to us.
One major non-conventional joint of our house was Fish room for my tropical fishes. I thought I would have a hard time explaining the temperature and humidity control requirements, but to my surprise, they had previous experience with fish room and it was a breeze planning this.
On a financial point of view, they finished the build more than a month ahead of schedule and was even flexible to a last-minute pre-ponding of handover date allowing us to make the best use of bank holiday weekend to move in. Little favours like this saved us heaps in rent and avoid taking moving dayoff work etc.
I am filling up the 3 month defect form and there is literally no defects I need to report, that is how much attention to detail had gone into this build. As an Engineer myself, I had been regurlary checking in with tradespersons on site and I was very impressed with Decheillis choice of tradies. Caspa Electricals and Sampina Joinery needs special mention.
We had the Grande inclusions and most items on it are already top of the range and didn’t need upgrading in our case. I guess upgrades are more of a social status than convenience.
I would like to send a special thanks to our Site supervisor, without your clam, cool and friendly approach working with us, it would not have been the same experience for us. Thankyou for make our dream come true.
